Breakfast is served 8:30-10am. Morning Coffee tea in sunroom from 7:30 onwards with national newspapers. Feel free to take your cofee to the garden.

Begin with a seasonal fresh fruit dish & homemade yogurt and then check out the buffet table for our own preserves & baked goods all made in house. A new hot entree is prepared each morning to compliment your meal. Menu items are changed for each morning ensuring a well balanced breakfast for you for the duration of your stay.
A sampling of main course breakfast items are:
Cheese and herb souffles-the MountainOak aged gouda & cumin were a hit this year, huevos rancheros, poached eggs florentines, Irish style fry with homemade potato bread, peach melba or elderberry & apple waffles, gingerbread pancakes, creamy scrambled egg with toasted herb and cheddar scones or smoked salmon.
Our buffet may include ground cherry spiced upside-down cake, chai tea and honey muffins, griddle cakes, whiskey marmalade & buttermilk muffins, almond poppy seed cake, banana & coconut bread, gingerbread or raspberry lime pound cake, pear & black sesame coffee cake, mixed spice sticky buns or 'nutty berry' french toast.
We have a wide variety of teas, coffee and fruit juices. If we don't have something you like, just ask and we'll have it upon your return visit. The majority of our local suppliers are vendors from Slow Food Sunday Market. We are also members of the slowfood movement. We encourage you to ask us about these artisans and farmers. Recipes are available in exchange for one of your favourites!
